It's always hard to find out which group started things. Muslims blame Hindus, and Hindus blame Muslims.

Some Hindus and Sikhs took revenge as shown in the later part of the video, but it was too little too late.

Train hold-ups and killing of Hindu and Sikh passengers was a regular feature of the Muslim League plan of action, as various incidents from March, right up till January, 1948 show.

All these atrocities on Hindus and Sikhs brought no condemnation whatever from the Muslim League leaders. They either kept silent about them, or continued to trot out imaginary atrocities on Muslims. This not only encouraged the Muslim goondas, but gave them the confidence that they could go on safely with the blessings of the League leaders.

It's hard to say if the world would be better without religion, it's so speculative. But it sure would be better if people didn't take it so seriously and use it to define themselves so totally. That goes for every hardliner extremist who thinks they know for sure what is in the mind of God, or the Gods, or Mother Nature, be they right-wing Christians, jihadist muslims and extremist Hindus.

Who started? British Spies started it assholes like you responded to kill. And still spreading these falls propaganda. Count the reported kills of Hindu and Muslims. Muslims were ten time more than Hindus and sikhs. Read the books of Indian writers. What Hindues did to Muslims in Bihar.
