We've seen a lot of spoofs of popular songs by desi people, but this probably is the worst. Nothing is right about this clip. They're not even doing anything! If you are thinking about making a spoof in the future, please avoid this kind.

Drunk Fool Going to Chicken & Rice

Chicken & Rice refers to a particular type of street food sold throughout New York city. However, its understood that when someone says "I'm going to chicken & rice" they mean they are going to the cart on the corner of 53rd & 6th which is only open from 7:30pm-4:00am. And its typical to have lines of up to 45 minutes even in the winter. The place is especially popular among South Asians and late night party goers.

The first video is of some drunk in a car on his way to chicken & rice. The second is of some girls being stupid while waiting in the huge line. The third is a video glorifying the cart.

Desi Dhamaka

Anusha Ghosh Roy reports. Desi Dhamaka quickly filled Meany Hall on April 14th. The largest South Asian talent show at the UW brought dance, music and talent to the stage.
