Chicken & Rice refers to a particular type of street food sold throughout New York city. However, its understood that when someone says "I'm going to chicken & rice" they mean they are going to the cart on the corner of 53rd & 6th which is only open from 7:30pm-4:00am. And its typical to have lines of up to 45 minutes even in the winter. The place is especially popular among South Asians and late night party goers.
